Goshalas (or Gaushalas) are protective shelters for the cows in India. Goshalas focus on treating cows well, because of their religious significance in Hinduism and consequent cultural sensitivity towards their welfare. A cow is one of the most important aspects of our society. Not only spiritually but materially, socially & economically she brings us prosperity. CowA cows a special place in our society. At Godham, we encourage and believe in a culture which is based on cows, mother earth and a Vedic lifestyle. We serve over 100 cows & bulls.

Vedas on Cows

It is mentioned in Vedas that, all demi-gods including Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh have their abode in the cow. Worshipping cows is very auspicious and is believed to be a washer of sins. Cow worshipping can also help you to fulfill your desires. 

Our Goshala

Srila Prabhupada, the founder acharya of ISKCON, encouraged everyone to protect and serve cows till they naturally leave their bodies. To make it sustainable and economically viable, it is essential to properly use the gifts received from mother cows such as cow urine and cow dung.  In our Goshala, we manufacture various eco-friendly products from Pancha-gavya (5 items derived from mother cow), organic fertilizer etc.

Panchagavya Chikitsalaya

The chikitsalaya (treatment center) is located in a completely natural and spiritual environment. the structure has been built in a traditional way & the therapy consists of medicines obtained exclusively from Panchagavya. We also conduct the effective therapy of Gomutra ‘baashpachikitsa’ (Gomutra Stream Therapy). The treatment is based on the Indian Vedic scriptures and Panchagavya medical treatment. We conduct treatments by prior appointment only.

Panchagvya ghee nasal drops

Panchagvya ghee nasal drops: Pure cow ghee can be used as nasal drops. Two drops of pure cow ghee is put into both nostrils, in the morning before 30 min. of food. This practice is called Nasya Treatment. Ghee in nasal is used to treat white hairs, hair fall, migraine, tension headache, trigeminal neuralgia tinnitus, hearing problems, vision problems, to treat lack of memory and concentration. Nasal drop therapy can be continued for 2 to 3 weeks of time.

Nasya treatment is not advisable in weather full of cloud or winter season. Even when a person has any diseases like cough and cold etc. related to nasals, Nasya treatment is not recommended.

Distilled cow urine

Distilled cow urine: Gomutra or gaumutra (Sanskrit: गोमूत्र gomūtra; cow urine) is urine from cows used for therapeutic purposes in traditional Indian medicine, Ayurveda, and also for purification in Vaastu Shastra. Gomutra is also an important component of the mixture called Panchagavya, also used in Ayurveda. Urine of a pregnant cow is considered special it is claimed to contain special hormones and minerals.

Havan Samigri

Havan Samigri: The sacred fire ceremony known as Havan or homa performed to invoke numerous forms of the divine gods and demi-gods. The presence of all the right Havan Puja Samagri allows for perfect completion of the ceremony. Havan Samagri from Rudraksha Ratna is meticulously arranged for the devotees to conduct a hassle-free ceremony. According to Ayurveda, milk has high medicinal value, thus a remedy for chronic diseases.

Herbal Hair & Scalp Treatment: This charcoal treatment is a good mixture of Brahmi, Reetha, Amla, Shikakai, Bhringraj & Fenugreek Seeds (Methi) which is really beneficial for the hair.

Chemical-free Dhoop Stick

Chemical-free Dhoop Stick: Organic cow dung is a natural dhoop with zero chemicals. It cleanses the air and also is best suitable for performing pooja, havan and, housewarming.

Vermicompost: Vermicompost'(“vermi-compost,vermiculture) is the product of the [composting] process using various species of worms such as; red wigglers, white worms, and other earthworms to create a mixture of decomposing vegetable or food waste, bedding materials, and vermicast.

Natural Pesticides

Natural Pesticides: Neem juice, neem pill, dashparni extract, buttermilk spray and, cow urine spray etc.
